A Local Authority in London was spending too much time managing properties based outside the borough and those owned by private landlords. While they had several property managers with capacity in the immediate area, which was a drain on the department, they lacked local market expertise. It was not cost-effective to get them to travel out of area and they had limited contractor resources outside of their traditional area of operation, but wanted to be able to successfully house and look after their residents in these areas.

The local authority has been able to grow their out of borough housing twofold and reduced void periods between tenancies as a direct result of using ARPM’s services. This has increased the number of tenants housed and improved the re-housing process. The residents in the local community now receive a greater service.
