The UK’s landlords have spoken and they’ve named what they love most about the services provided by property managers. The findings are part of Reapit’s recent State of Lettings Report, which is based on data collected from its Big British Property Survey conducted earlier in 2021.
Interestingly, 70% of landlords surveyed who used a professional management service said that they were happy to delegate all lettings responsibility to their chosen manager.
The top three most valued services provided by a property manager, as voted for by landlords, comprises:
- Rent collection (68.12%)
- Tenant screening (68.12%)
- Arranging repairs (63.77%)
It was great to read Reapit acknowledging the fact that property investors can get the biggest return from their properties with the smallest amount of personal effort by involving a professional property manager. With increasing amounts of compliance, competition from the lifestyle-driven Build to Rent sector and a long list of administrative tasks to undertake, the value of a professional property partner is soaring.
