For many home movers, TV persona Phil Spencer is someone to take notice of and now the property home finder has produced a podcast around the argument of letting agent versus private landlord.
Thankfully, Phil offers some sensible advice to tenants, commenting: “The advantages of using a letting agent are they’ll be experienced in what they’re doing and they should understand property law. A letting agent is far more likely to ensure that all the legal requirements are met, both by the landlord and by a tenant.”
While the podcast does touch on the positives of renting directly through a landlord, it does feel that Phil is endorsing the use of a letting agent and therefore his podcast may be a resource that agents can share with clients.
